What started as a small favor for a friend quickly turned into something much bigger than I ever imagined. My pet-sitting journey began with a simple request—watching a neighbor’s dog while they were away for the weekend. I had always loved animals, and spending time with them felt more like a joy than a chore. Little did I know that one-weekend gig would ignite a passion that would grow into a thriving small business.

Word spread quickly. Soon, I was getting calls from friends, then friends of friends, all asking if I could care for their pets while they traveled. Each visit strengthened my bond with animals and deepened my understanding of their unique needs. Whether it was an anxious pup needing extra comfort, a playful cat craving engagement, or a senior pet requiring special care, I found fulfillment in ensuring they felt safe and loved while their owners were away.

As my client list grew, so did my dream. I realized that this wasn’t just a side job—it was something I truly loved. I took the leap and officially launched my own pet-sitting business, Play ‘N Stay Sitter. I expanded my services to include overnight stays, home visits, and even house-sitting for those who wanted the added security of someone looking after their home as well.

Now, I have the privilege of providing reliable, compassionate care to pets while giving their owners peace of mind. Every wagging tail, happy purr, and excited greeting reminds me why I started this journey. What began as a small gig has grown into a business built on trust, love, and an unwavering dedication to the well-being of every furry (or feathered) friend I meet.
